DURINAR TREK : The Durinar is the highest Alpine lake in Kashmir province.

Overview :

The Trek Starts From Sarbal Village :

This trek starts from the last village of Kashmir Valley towards north-east (Sarbal Village) . The trek has three alpine lakes on its route, and one being the highest altitude (4605) lake  in Kashmir. 
It provides a panoramic view of the valley, a sight that will etched in your mind forever.

The Team Harmukh Adventures  successfully completed it  in one day. We  visited many underrated and unvisited lakes and meadows. It is a moderate trek but a little prior experience in high altitude trekking will help you. 







We left early morning from Sarbal village, Sonamarg, We had a local guide with us who was very know to this place. we reached bear valley at 9 A.M where we took some rest and some locals offered us  Noon Chai it was much need for us! after having some good rest and Tea we started our hiking towards Durinar I, II, III.




It was a really tough trek despite that we didn't stepped back And finally we reached our destination. Durinar I and Durinar II where moderate treks but proceedings towards Durinar III.

It was a challenging task as we had to cross 1 km long snowy terrain which was very slippery and lose rocky terrain, we could hardly hold our hands and foot on the terrain. At last  we reached  Durinar III at 2 PM and decided to have our lunch. 




















It was a vital point of two valleys Sind Valley and Lidder Valley, all members started capturing some good photos and after clicking summit photographs Team started descend back to sonamarg. Team reached back safely sarbal village, sonamarg at 7 pm.

The Team Harmukh Adventures Attempted to summit the Mount Tatakooti Peak

On May 09, 2018.The 7 Members of (The Harmukh Adventures) Danish Dhaar, Sajid Manzoor, Amir Lateef, Owais Shafi, Younis Ahmad Dar along with a lady Climber Nahida Manzoor, attempted to climb the Tatakooti Peak (4725) meters, but could only reach 4100 Meters because of deep snow (8 – 10 fts) . The Tatakouti Peak is one of the most difficult peak of Kashmir.

Hardly Any Climber has attempted to summit the 
Peak in the month of May.
The peak is scaled through Valley’s known tourist resort Doodpathri. The members Started trek from doodpathri Via Discal the members set up the base camp at Ashtar Valley (3510) meters. 




The next morning at 6:13 am, the group started accent toward the summit but Unfortunately climb was nearly high in difficulty because of deep snow (8 – 10 fts). All the members gave their level best to reach towards Summit but could only reach 4029 Meters the Team Leaders Danish Dhaar and Nahida Manzoor Decided to Summit one of the peaks of pirpanjal range (4100) Meters which comes on the way to Mt Tatakooti Peak , and after Summiting it Successfully From the top Team Members saw some glimpse of snow covered lake then Team Members started to Descend Back towards the base Camp and Reached Back at 5 Pm. 

The Snow expedition to Mt Tatakooti Peak including a local lady climber was the first of its kind.
